Key trends included increasing interest from business owners exploring franchising, as evidenced by strong participation in masterclasses and franchise exhibitions. The UK franchise market showed robust growth, with nearly 90% of franchisees profitable and franchisors optimistic about the future.
The industry showcased diversity, with new franchises spanning trail running, HR services, gelato parlours, and more. Lifestyle-driven franchises gained prominence, reflecting a shift toward flexible, work-life balance-oriented business models. Technology played a vital role in enhancing operations, while mobile-based, low-investment services gained traction.
Looking ahead, 2025 is poised for further expansion, with new brands entering the market across various sectors. Face-to-face connections and networking are expected to remain vital as the franchising landscape continues to thrive.
